More than forty years since its initial publication in 1978, the Seventh Edition of Cases and Materials on Family Law gives students an introduction to Family Law that follows the field’s traditional and emerging forms in ways that are entirely fresh. Like earlier editions, the Seventh Edition weaves together cases, statutes, model codes, policy, narrative, history, transnational sources, and theory, in highly accessible ways, as it illuminates Family Law’s dynamic relationship with the highly variegated social landscape on which it rests.
