O'Connor loved the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains and their bighorn, antelope, elk and mule deer inhabitants. He also hunted throughout Arizona and New Mexico for rabbit, wild pigs, turkey, quail, and dove. Jaguar, mountain lion, coyote and bear are also covered.
