The best time to visit Sedona is from March to May before it gets too blazing hot. September to November is also mild. This is a one week itinerary with 3-4 nights in Sedona, 1-2 nights at the Grand Canyon National Park, and allows a night or two of lodging in Scottsdale if needed based on flight times. The last leg of the itinerary details the scenic drive to the Grand Canyon with stops along the way at Sunset Crater National Monument and Wupatki National Indian Site.
