Besides the introduction of the causes of 1989 Tiananmen Square Protests / Tiananmen Square Incident, the book focuses on the publically concerned cases, suspicions and unsettled issues as well. The author researched into pre-incident and post-incident interactions between the government and anti-government forces as well as wrestles between the higher authorities and civil societies, probing deep into the secrets behind the backdrop, and offered new interpretations in some aspects.
