I held the Colt .45 pistol in my right hand and pulled her leg with the other.
â€œWake up bitch!â€ I yelled rudely rousing her from her sleep.
She moved around and mumbled something that I didn't understand. The snake wasn't up yet, so I shot the gun in the air.
Peaches sprang up and huddled near the headboard when she saw me standing there with the gun pointed at her.
â€œWhat the...?â€ She asked groggily wiping the sleep from her eyes.
â€œNope, you ain't dreaminâ€™! I ain't dead! Iâ€™m alive as hell and Iâ€™m right here in your face, so wake the hell up!â€ The look on my face told her why I was there.
There was fear on her face, but there was no mistaking the evil in her eyes. It was probably always there, but I was too naive to notice it. Either that, or I was so evil that I didn't recognize the look at first as a threat. Maybe the look just reminded me of the look in my own eyes.
As I sat down on the bed, she cowered closer to the headboard. â€œDonâ€™t be scared now,â€ I taunted her. â€œYou wasn't scared when you decided to set up my best friend, almost got my man killed and murdered the only real female friend I got.â€
â€œWhat the hell? I thought your ass was dead.â€ She sneered at me before letting out a cackle of a nervous laugh. â€œJust my damn luck.â€
â€œLuck?â€ My laugh was way more menacing than hers. â€œSorry to break the bad news, but your luck ran out a long time ago.â€
â€œIf you gonâ€™ kill me go ahead and do it Zero. You got the gun in your hand. Donâ€™t torture me with a guilt trip like your ass is so perfect.â€ She rolled her eyes at me like we were having a simple quarrel in juvie. If only she knew.
â€œIt ain't goinâ€™ be that easy. I figured with this gun in your face youâ€™ll finally tell the truth. I got some questions for you before I kill you.â€ The gun was pointed right under her rib cage. I had the barrel right there and she couldn't move without getting some hot steel in her vitals.
