The Worcester Tornado of 1953 was the single-most devastating natural disaster to ever hit Massachusetts. At a time before early warnings and weather alerts, the people of Central Massachusetts didn’t know what hit them as the massive funnel cloud moved across the state obliterating everything in its path.
