Sydney Shaden was barely scraping by paying for his university fees when the VR Pod was released. At first, he thought it was something to celebrate - before his school went virtual. Sydney couldn't afford the prices to buy his own Pod, and the young man was forced to drop-out of university.
He saved up for years, until he finally bought the parts to build his very own Virtual Reality Pod, as well as the only game released for it - Archae. How could he resist being able to battle dragons and throw fireballs?
The young man assembled it all, loaded up his first virtual reality game and that's when it went all wrong.
