Audiology Workbook, Second Edition

The Audiology Workbook is a companion to the textbook Audiology: Science to Practice, Second Edition for undergraduate students in audiology and speech-language pathology and for graduate students beginning an AuD program who may not have a previous background in the subject. It is also an excellent resource for any professional who works with audiologists or patients with hearing loss. Readers at all levels will find the material challenging yet understandable.

Audiology Workbook has activities and questions designed related to concepts and procedures traditionally covered in introductory hearing science and clinical audiology courses. This workbook is designed for undergraduate students in speech and hearing and students beginning graduate studies in audiology.

The workbook includes activities such as drawing labeling diagrams, drawing waveforms, calculating frequencies/periods, amplitudes, and phases, interpreting audiograms, speech tests, tympanograms, acoustic reflexes, and auditory brainstem responses. There are also questions to reinforce knowledge about hearing disorders, as well as basic understanding of hearing aids and their fittings.
