Readers write in about dishes they ve enjoyed at restaurants, that they remember from childhood, that they re just curious about. I try to find answers to a few of these mysteries. This cookbook is a second helping of stories and recipes that grew of out those requests. By Request has always depended on the kindness of great cooks willing to share.
