Christianity and the Poor

Christianity and the Poor will provide you, and hopefully through you, your local church, an awareness of the dire position of the poor worldwide. It will also equip you with a “substantial” biblical knowledge of this class of people, God’s concern for them, and His expectations upon us in regard to caring for them. Finally, it considers the current methodologies utilised by local churches to assist the poor and finds a large majority of them counter productive to the restoration of human dignity.
