The almost-all-visual zine. Each page is filled with high-contrast art, carefully taken from vintage catalogs, advertising, obscure books, and found ephemera. A mixture of social commentary and self-acknowledged over-indulgent graphic design. In this issue: Through sheer volume of artfully arranged iconography, Crap Hound explores the popular meaning, cultural ideals and historic symbolism of Clowns, Devils & Bait. This issue was originally printed in 1996. For the 2nd edition, 24 pages of clowns and devils have been added and many of the original pages have been revised/added to. In this edition you will find: 8 pages of bait, 21 pages of devils, 46 pages of clowns, 4 copyright free typefaces, and 4 pages of random images. This issue is bigger than previous ones -- full-magazine-sized, in fact, with full-on magazine-style production values. Is it even a zine any more? You be the judge!
