Darcy and His Elizabeth: A Pride and Prejudice Variation

When Darcy resolves to tell Elizabeth about a mistake made long before their marriage, he is preempted by Mr. Bennet's sudden illness. Elizabeth's papa begs to be taken home to Longbourn ~ and that his favorite daughter go with him.

Elizabeth is happy to get away when she learns of a terrible secret from Darcy's past--something he did not trust her enough to share. Then as time goes on, the breach between them widens until she can't see a way to heal the rift.

Darcy refuses to lose the woman who bewitched him, heart and soul. He may appear to give Elizabeth the space she has asked for, but he will find a way to get her back in his arms.
