Gate 6...Murder at Black Oaks

Madeline Abbott is told the unthinkable. Black Oaks, the coastal mansion inherited from her parents may not be hers, due to a bizarre legal mix-up. Her attorney investigates the validity of the claim, but she is slammed with worse news: her ex-husband, David, has been released from jail and is suddenly missing.
Madeline then becomes the prime suspect in a grisly murder. She and detectives Cooper and Morales are thrust into a complex game involving Madeline’s ex, a person claiming ownership of Black Oaks, and a brutal rape and assault. Cooper is blindsided by something that may put his and Madeline’s budding relationship in jeopardy and Madeline may have to face the unknown danger lurking in the shadowy hallways and murky rooms of the huge old house…alone.
