Give All to Love: A Young Mother's Battle with Breast Cancer

In October 2013, Meg Sager was 32 years old, the happily married mother of a 3-year-old daughter with her second child on the way. She was a dedicated middle-school teacher who had recently earned a Master’s Degree and had plans for going back to school again once her husband completed the Ph.D. program he had just begun. It was a hopeful time.



When she first noticed the tender lump in her breast, she assumed it was related to her pregnancy. Even so, she had it checked out and soon got the diagnosis that would change her life: she had triple-negative breast cancer, a particularly aggressive form of the disease.



Almost immediately after being diagnosed, she began sharing her experiences on her blog, keeping readers informed about every phase of her battle with cancer.
