Good Citizens

In the near future, a liberal American president extends his time in office past his second term for the purpose, he and his supporters claim, of dealing with a series of terrorist attacks. Conservatives smell a tyrant in the making. Dakota Grabek, an Air Force sergeant who is studying to become an engineer, finds himself in the increasingly strident camp of those who oppose the president. His girlfriend, Annadee Cristofeld, is torn between Grabek and her conservative father on one side, and her friend Wildflower, who adores the president, on the other. When a right-wing organization pressures Grabek to join them, he and Annadee become the target of a clandestine left-wing group known as the Unit. As the nation convulses and a final showdown approaches, everyone is convinced that now is the time for all good citizens to come to the aid of their ideology.
