For Carl Livingston, growing up playing the drums in church was all he’d ever known. Throughout most of his life, he’d never experienced anything outside of the Christian belief system his mom instilled in him until an exotic Latin woman named Eden walked into the house of God one Sunday morning. His whole world seemed to stop when he saw her and was determined to meet her. Without thinking twice, he introduced himself to the Columbian born refugee who’s good looks got her almost any and everything she wanted. After hitching a ride to Miami with her uncle Sapo on his boat barge of bananas he imported from Columbia, Eden managed to get around town using her deceptiveness, sexiness and manipulation to get what she wanted even without speaking very much English. Carl refused to heed warnings from his longtime friend Heaven and became more unholy with each passing day. Though not a virgin, Carl’s only been intimate with two people and had a curiousity of what it would be like to sleep with someone so beautiful and exotic as Eden. He’d only seen people that looked like her on TV but was unaware of a secret that Donald, the church bass player and pastors son was keeping to himself about her. With so many warnings and signs given to Carl about how mischievious she was, he ultimately found himself in a life or death situation. His disrespect grew so big that his family, friends and God wondered if it was too late to catch him before he fell in too deep. Will Carl restore the integrity of his faith?
