KING OF THE STREETZ

Fresh out of North Carolina's penitentiary system after doing a stretch for a crime he didn't commit, Tk, one of T-ville's finest, wastes no time before he sets in motion a plan to take what he feels the streetz rightfully owe him.

An uneducated, seventeen year old black youth who finds himself railroaded and in prison doing a seven year bid for an armed robbery he didn't commit. It is under these circumstances that TK meets a wizened ex-drug kingpin doing seventeen years for conspiracy to traffic and distribute cocaine. Just so happens, this ex-drug kingpin is also a Grandmaster on the chessboard. With considerable effort, he not only teaches TK how to play chess, but he also shows him how to apply the same logic to life. In the process, he encourages TK to get his GED and enroll in college courses while he educates him about the streets and its many traps.

It is with all this knowledge that TK comes up with what seems like the perfect plan to take over the streets once he is released. The only problem is, the one thing he didn't plan for strikes him within twenty - four hours of his release… A woman! Not just any woman, but the wife of his father like mentor.

With adultery, murder and betrayal under his belt, TK fights to keep karma at bay. The only question is; will he succeed?
