LOSING AMY

This book is dedicated to the late Amy Winehouse, a misplaced genius, highlighting her role in the music world, her great vision and technique, style and simplicity.

She was driven on by an emotional and brilliant power, with her unique contralto vocals and her electric mix of musical genres. There was something about Amy that inspired me, something quite exciting. My book is based on the life of Amy, her ups and downs and is complimented with my very own oil paintings personally commissioned by Amy.

I intend my story to unfold in an honest exposure of the extraordinarily talented Amy, her character, her fast-track to super- stardom, love of art, fidelity, moral values and the final countdown of the greatest singer-songwriter and musical genius of our time.

To write something worthwhile about her I have to get rid of my illusions.
