The Bible is like a letter--God's message to us. He reveals himself through the prose and poetry of the Old Testament. Likewise, he speaks through the writers of the New Testament letters to the fledgling churches of the first century. These letters are full of tension and struggle; they explore what it means to live for Jesus. In that spirit, Letters to a Christian is a compilation of letters to the readers of Bible Study Magazine from former editor-in-chief John D. Barry, presented in the order they were written from 2008 to 2014. They portray a journey of personal exploration, faith, and transformation--a journey the author invites you to join him on, as you seek Jesus' plan for your life.
