Lost In Love: Memories of Us (a prelude)

NOTE: This is an ‘interlude’ between ‘Lost In Love’ (vol. 1) and the upcoming sequel ‘Lost in a Memory’ (Lost in Love – vol. 2). It is strongly suggested that ‘Lost In Love’ (vol. 1) be read before this one, as there are mention of events from vol. 1 which a reader needs to be familiar with to fully understand this short story. This story will tie directly into the sequel.

Nate and Kyle continue to enjoy their honeymoon, each quietly reflecting on the battles they have overcome, the anguish suffered, which has brought them here to their own personal heaven on earth within one another’s arms. Kyle surprises Nate with a gift –to be given to him on their one-year anniversary. After a little strategic “tempting”, Nate convinces Kyle to give him a hint of the gift’s contents.
