Naomi Hall is college-educated with a great corporate job in downtown Detroit, a shiny silver Jaguar and a best friend worth millions of dollars. She is determined never to end up like her mother, Gloria Saunders, a churchgoing homemaker known for her mouth-watering soul food recipes.
