Mary Rogers grew up in a small town in Virginia. Her best friend Thomas has been trying to get her to leave Virginia and join him in Washington, DC for years. The opportunity arrives when Thomas’ secretary leaves her position and he offers the job to Mary. Needing to leave her religious family who would never accept Mary being a lesbian accepts Thomas’ offer of a job. There she meets the beautiful Congresswoman Katherine Willow. The two women become friends with each hiding a secret. Can these woman find love in this town of secrets? Love is easier to find then it is to make it last.
