O Thisavros tou Nerou

At a hospital’s intensive care unit, a man senses that his end is nigh. His conscience is laden by remorse for a grave error he committed twenty years back. Wishing to lighten the burden of his sin, he makes a last effort to atone for his crime. He is at his last throes and at those ultimate moments, an unknown child accidentally cross his path. He is the only person who can help him and the dying man entrusts the boy with a mission. The man thought that it was his duty to fulfil that mission himself but he was unable to do the right thing since disease caught up with him. The young boy is called upon to locate the mystery island and return the miracle-working icon of St George, to the place wherefrom he once had committed the grave error of stealing it. The boy’s quest unfolds into a great adventure and a miraculous intervention turns the odds of the difficult quest. At the same time, a real estate litigation will have disastrous consequences. The war between two co-owners of a land plot for possession of the only water source on their land will cause a guilty secret to come to the fore.
