After a bloody 76th birthday week, Ed listens to his beloved Florenceâ€™s advice and takes her to Maui for three months to celebrate his retirement. But two days before they return to Portland, he takes another job, this one a 400-pound beast of a man.

Back in Portland only one day, their world is suddenly turned upside down and Ed is forced to ignore his personal rule: Never, ever let it get personal.
