Nominated for two Pulitzer Prizes, Bill is a former journalist for Newsday and is the author of Doodles & Daydreams: Your Passport for Becoming an Escape Artist (Gibbs Smith, 2007) and Lunch Box Letters. He lives in New York City.

Tom Bloom's work includes illustrating two other books by Zimmerman-the best-selling Children's Letters to God and Make Beliefs-among many others. He draws regularly for the New York Times.
