Principles of Discipleship

Following a period of great revival, Charles Finney reached a point of physical exhaustion. This resulted in his taking time to write a series of articles to continue the work of discipleship in a the new believers scattered throughout the regions of revival. These practical instructions on a variety of subjects were published in The Oberlin Evangelist periodical. Compiler and editor L.G. Parkhurst has reshaped these letters addressed to specific themes into book form for the first time.

Principles of Discipleship deals with the practical aspects of maintaining a growing walk with Christ--advice for pastors, parents, new believers, mature believers, as well as letters concerning sanctification. Together they present a clear message on conforming our lives to the image of Christ.
