Apostle Paul said to Timothy, â€œMy son, I am giving you this command, following the prophecies that you received about your life, use them to war a good warfare (1 Timothy 1:18 â€“ Paraphrased).

When we spend time and pray prophetically for the year, what we are doing is taking authority over the year spiritually. We stand on the WORD of God and declare its fulfillment. We level all spiritual mountains against the WORD, commit the year into the hand of the LORD, and confess our constant need of His leading and help.

Have you noticed that Every New Year, people make resolutions? Unfortunately, 95% of these New Year resolutions don't get fulfilled. In fact, a survey shows that many forget their New Year resolutions after just 13 days.

Why?

The reason is simple. â€œIt is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercyâ€ (Romans 9:16).

This is not to suggest that setting goals is not a good practice. It is highly recommended. But the truth is that thereâ€™s little we can do without some support.

So when we spend time with God and prayer-plan our New Year, we have confidence that the Spirit of God will guide us to make the right decisions, follow after the right goals and graciously achieve what really matters.

=>Do you want to overcome your weight problems and live healthier?
=>Do you need God's intervention in your home, regarding the kids or your partner?
=>Do you want to break the threat of death in your dreams and curses over your life?

Don't worry, let's wait on the LORD for 21 days and nights, and commit everything to Him. Then watch how your testimony is multiplied this year.
