Soldiers From the Hills: The Gurkhas

The Gurkha regiments in the British Army are among the world's finest infantrymen. Recruited in the kingdom of Nepal since 1819, they have served the kings and queens of Britain with loyalty and incredible bravery. Their battle cry "Here comes the Gurkhas!" has caused enemy soldiers to flee the battlefield and has given the Gurkha a combat potential far greater than his numbers.
