A note from the author:

Iâ€™m an acupuncturist with over 20 years experience. This book started life when I graduated in 1992 and found there was no definitive guide to the spirits of acupuncture points.

I researched and wrote the original Spirits and Functions book, first published in 1994. I have really enjoyed updating the book and including things such as the location of each point, which make this volume so useful in the clinic.
