This e-book provides background information about the MBR (membrane bioreactor) wastewater treatment system and detailed discussion of process design calculations for this process. Combining an aeration tank with membrane filtration instead of a secondary clarifier, results in a more compact system than conventional activated sludge that produces a higher quality effluent.
