Sterling Forest Trails

Printed in vibrant color on waterproof and tear-resistant Tyvek, this revised, detailed, digitally-produced map features all marked hiking trails and woods roads in Sterling Forest State Park, including new trails such as the Red Back Trail and expansion of the Bare Rock Trail. Also includes a section of the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, a section of the Highlands Trail, and neighboring trails in Harriman State Park and parks in nearby New Jersey. Map features 20-foot contour intervals, UTM grid lines, green overprint for public access lands, viewpoints and parking areas. Areas where hunting is permitted are defined by special shading. An inset map at expanded scale now more clearly shows the trails in the vicinity of the Visitor Center. Detailed trail information is also provided on the map back.
