Stupid CCIE Tricks Series v5.0 - Section 4: IGP – RIP

Due to the reduction of RIP in the industry, it’s becoming less obvious and many take it for granted, therefore CCIE Routing and Switching v5.0 candidates are missing what should be easy points. This document is to cover the general operation of RIPv2 and how it may be used within the CCIE R&S practical exam.
The goal is to give the candidate an understanding of how RIPv2 works and how it may be used within the CCIE R&S practical exam and therefore will help shorten the time spent configuring and troubleshooting RIPv2 within the exam.
