Papa Bear, Brother Bear, and Sister Bear are relaxing on their front lawn, lazing the day away, when they notice that their neighbors, the Skunks, are moving away. Who will take the Skunks’ place? Real estate agent Miz Muskrat shows the house to a gang of rabbits and a prickly bunch of porcupines, but finally sells it to a family of very eager beavers. While the Bears waste away the day playing checkers and paddleball, the Beavers get to work. By the time they’re finished fixing up the old house, both families will have learned to find a balance between being as busy as a beaver or as lazy as a bear.
