The House That Shivered

Colby Raine is in the midst of one of the most bleak predicaments of his life. Recently divorced by his wealthy wife after being forced to sign an unfavorable prenup, he is certain his writing career will take off if he can only find two years of lead time.

He signs on to Bea Benedict's efforts to turn a handsome old house on a private island in Puget Sound into an upscale bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, the house has seen its fair share of tragedies, and it harbors its own residual anger over the past. Or so it seems. At least two women ended up floating in the sound when they tried to escape.

The house was a steal for Bea's parents and grandparents, but they perished before they could undertake the bed and breakfast transformation. Will she and Colby complete the dream or have some houses beyond rehabilitation?
