The Lives of Captain Jack is Big Finish's first Doctor Who spin-off featuring the immensely popular character of Captain Jack Harkness, played by John Barrowman MBE.The Captain Jack character went on from Doctor Who to head up world-spanning spin-off Torchwood, and star John Barrowman has since recreated the role along with his fellow co-stars in a number of popular Torchwood audio productions for Big Finish. Co-star Alexander Vlahos has been seen most recently in BBC2's epic historical drama Versailles - but he's also played Dorian Gray in a run of Big Finish audio releases. Russell Tovey and Camille Coduri return to play their fan-favourite roles of Midshipman Alonso Frame, and Jackie Tyler - mother of Billie Piper's Rose Tyler, the first companion in 2005's returned Doctor Who.
