But legal action was threatened by LBJ associates, leading to the banning of further sales or broadcasting of the program. "The Men on the Sixth Floor" was the first book to introduce Malcolm Wallace to the assassination community. It was the first book to tie Wallace to the owner of the Texas School Book Depository - D. H. Byrd, and it was the first book to release the never before seen "Estes documents" to public scrutiny. That is why this book is considered 'required reading' by serious JFK researchers around the world.
