Things to Do Around Ventura County, CA - including Santa Barbara and Malibu (Interesting Places Not In Most Travel Books) (2011-2012)

I live in Ventura and have personally visited each of the sites in this book. I dislike generalized travel guides written by people mining the internet who have never really been to the sites, thus in my travel guides, I do not recommend any site I have not visited myself, for I feel only by visiting the actual place, can one express to another the feel and virtues of these adventures. I not only grew up in the Southern CA region, but I also earned my Masters' Degree in CA History from the CA State University at Northridge. I have studied the history of the Southern CA area at a professional level and many of these places were places I found while doing historical research. Other sites in this book I knew of since I was a child, but they are not widely advertised. This book will provide hours of fun, off the beaten path, for those wanting to explore the Ventura, CA area. I have also included a restaurant list for Ventura and the surrounding areas with healthy food alternatives.
