When God's People Have HIV/Aids: An Approach to Ethics

To help the church community respond adequately and affirmatively to HIV/AIDS, Cimperman proposes integrating spirituality and morality by developing the Christian virtues of fidelity, prudence, hope, and solidarity to overcome the ravages of the AIDS epidemic on both body and soul. Two case studies - one from Uganda and the second, the story of Dr. Paul Farmer, in Haiti - demonstrate what is possible when people of God exercise discipleship.
